If Danielle & Thomas are not running the company or away guiding, you can be sure they are out on family adventures!
THOMAS VIALLETET / IFMGA Mountain & Ski Guide
Thomas grew up in the French Alps where he has been climbing, skiing and exploring mountains for over two decades. He has a Diploma in Sport Management and Photography.
His quest for mountain adventures brought him to New Zealand and he immediately fell in love with the wilderness of this country…
He was a climbing instructor before becoming a full IFMGA Mountain & Ski Guide. One of his most favorite places for skiing is the Freeride Mecca of La Grave where he spent almost a decade ski-guiding every winter. He was also part of the French National Young Alpinism Team between 2009 and 2012.
Sharing his passion is now becoming Thomas’s guiding legacy.
DANIELLE VIALLETET / Operations Manager
Danielle is a kiwi beach baby who couldn’t resist the call of the Mountains. She has been climbing and travelling around the world for more than 20 years.
Danielle has a Diploma in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and she also has excellent communication skills with her clientele.
Now a mother of two lovely children, she is a strong support for her husband, Thomas, and in office based operations.
Thomas was exceptional and definitely the best guide I have had the pleasure of travelling with in over 10 years of trekking and mountaineering internationally.
His balance of professional instruction and friendly banter made every part of our trip a memorable experience.
I was particularly impressed with his ability and local knowledge to modify our itinerary due to unfavourable weather conditions and still provide an opportunity to achieve our objectives, create amazing climbs and provide value.
Thomas was an amazing guide! He pushed me, both mentally and physically, which was amazing and was constantly informing us what was happening and why he made the decisions that he made. And he was easy to be with and talk to, which is super important when you are going to be around a person for a whole week.
And finally, I trusted him, he made me, and I hope the others as well, to feel safe and I trusted that he made the best decisions based on the conditions that we were in.
